DMK Working President and the Opposition party leader in the Tamil Nadu Assembly M.K.Stalin created ripples by coming out of the Assembly complex with his shirt torn.

Earlier in the day Stalin demanded that the Vote of Confidence motion be conducted on another day as the Governor has given 15 days time for the Government to prove its majority. When this went on deaf ears the DMK members allegedly created ruckus in the Assembly. A few members even tried to block the Speaker P.Dhanapal while he tried to leave the hall. His shirt was also torn and chair and mikes broken before that.

When the Assembly convened again at 1 PM, Dhanapal expelled the DMK members. The DMK members including Stalin refused to move out of the hall and staged a sit in protest.

Then the Assembly Marshals allegedly forcibly evicted Stalin and others. In this melee Stalin's shirt was torn.

Stalin has announced that he will meet the Governor CH.Vidyasagar Rao and report to him about the incidents that took place in the Assembly today. He also alleged that the Speaker Dhanapal torn his shirt to make a false charge against DMK members.
