Mohanlal – Priyadarshan teams Oppam was a mega hit in Mollywood. Now the latest news is that the film will be dubbed into Tamil. Priyadarshan and Mohanlal are very much liked by Tamil audience. Priyadarshan debuted to Tamil with Chinnamanikuyile which is an unreleased movie. Later he directed Gopura Vasalila` which had Karthik, Suchitra and Bhanupriya in the lead roles. His Tamil film Kanchivaram was critically acclaimed and won several national awards including Best film and Best actor award for Prakash Raj.

Oppam` is the comeback film of Priyadarshan after a brief period of dullness in his career. It collected around 60 crores at the box office. Mohanlal will dub in Tamil for his character. Tamil actor Samudrakani is essaying a pivotal role in the film.
