Operation success sans the doc

Well, if you can then you can also understand the 125 days success celebration of Shankardada MBBS.
The function was held at Narsapuram without the presence of Chiranjeevi, the good doctor whose operations, as it were, made a success out of the film.
Though the trade pundits are still discussing whether the film is a commercial success or not, in terms of mass appeal and sheer running power the film has surely been a major hit.
And that is mainly due to Chiru's charismatic drawing power. In the event, his no-show at the celebrations was a bit of a let down for the thousands of fans who had gathered. But they were sort of compensated with a message from Chiranjeevi through video.
The other stars of the films (excluding the heroine Sonali) were also in attendance to add mirth and glamour to the evening.
There was fun and frolic all through the evening ---- an apt celebration top a film that was all about that.
Pity Chiru was not at hand.
