Selvaraghavan's much anticipated Pudhupettai today (Friday) opened in all theatres. Starring Dhanush, Sonia Agarwal and Sneha, Pudhupettai as expected opened to packed houses all over Tamilnadu.
Almost all the tickets were sold out in advance booking, while a huge crowd was witnessed in suburban theatres where the movie was released this morning. A tensed Selvaraghavan hoped that audience would welcome his work, which is different from his earlier movies.
For Dhanush, it is a do or die movie for his recent releases took a beating at the box office. The movie also opened simultaneously as Dhoolpet in Telugu all over Andhra Pradesh and incidents of gate crashing was reported in several areas.
