Oorantha Anukuntunnaaru is a village-based drama: Makers

'Oorantha Anukuntunnaaru' sees the coming together of Naveen Vijaykrishna and Avasarala Srinivas as the heroes. Penned and directed by Balaji Sanala, the village-based rom-com and family entertainer has Megha Chowdary and Sophia Singh playing the female leads.

Releasing its teaser, the makers today said that the film has already generated positive vibes. Superstar Krishna said, "If the title is good, it's half the victory. Naresh (whose son is Naveen Vijaykrishna) has listened to the story. I value his judgement."

Naveen said that he frequents villages as he loves the rural environment. "We shot 'Oorantha Anukuntunnaru' in Palakollu. I loved the village so much that I felt like settling there permanently," he added. His father, Naresh, said that the film is apt for the prevalent trend and that it will surely become a hit.

Music and cinematography are by KM Radhakrishnan and GLN Babu. 'Sahaja Nati' Jayasudha, the versatile Rao Ramesh and Kota, among others, are part of the cast.
