Varun Tej awaits the release of 'Anthariksham' on December 21 and 'F2' during the Sankranthi festival holidays.  He has a new headache ahead of the release of these movies.  No, it's not related to any commercial aspect.  It's a self-inflicted one, almost.

The cause of the Mega Prince's trouble is his father, Naga Babu.  He has provoked Nandamuri Balakrishna by deliberately mocking him indirectly and controversially.  Releasing a video statement on Monday, Naga Babu has sarcastically said that Balakrishna is a very good comedian.  To cover up his bold joke, he cleverly remarked that he is referring to Valluri Balakrishna, the comedy artiste of the black-n-white era.

When Varun Tej promotes his upcoming movie later this month, the media will surely question him about his father's controversial comments.

When Naga Babu ridiculed Ram Gopal Varma as 'Akku Pakshi' last year, Varun Tej had no problem in saying that he backs his father on the comments.  He could comfortably do it because nobody is fanatical about RGV, who doesn't take himself very seriously either.  But Balakrishna?  The Mega hero has to get ready for a diplomatic defence of his father.  Or will he say that his father indeed doesn't know who Nandamuri Balakrishna is?
