The shooting of Oopiri is done but for some portions involving Nagarjuna. "The pending portions will take another two days to finish off," the makers said.

The audio of Oopiri, the Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual, will be released on Feb 28. The film's release date is officially fixed to be March 25, in both Telugu and Tamil.

Produced by Prasad V Potluri, the film is based on the French film The Intouchables. While Nag is playing a quadriplegic, Karthi is playing his caretaker. Tamannah Bhatia is playing a key role here. Adivi Sesh and Anushka are cast in cameo roles. Shriya Saran, the lucky charm in Nag's films, is playing a special, guest role.

Directed by Vamsi Paidipally, it has music by Gopi Sunder. Cinematography is by PS Vinod.

Recently, sharing his experience of working for the film, Nag said, "I`m playing a totally paralyzed person in Oopiri. Even the neck movement is very mild. It`s a full-on comedy. My relationship with Karthi is very funny. There is no revenge element or things like that. Even how I became a quadriplegic is not shown. It was very depressing to play the role (laughs). I had to be static and I would sometimes have timmiri` in my legs. One assistant director was assigned the work of observing only me. He would alert the director even if my finger moved a little. (laughs). It was very difficult as I`m used to tap my fingers whenever I talk."
