Oopiri/Thozha, releasing on March 25, has a run time of 154 minutes. The original The Intouchables had a run time of only 112 minutes. As Vamshi Paidipally has confirmed, at least 60 scenes are new in this adaptation.

We are surely in for many changes to the original. Tamannah, too, has said that just as PVP bought the rights from the producer of The Intouchables, that producer would have liked to buy remake rights from PVP.

Meanwhile, Karan Johar has bought the remake rights of the movie.
