Rarely do we find an assertive actress, who boldly lashes out at the idiosyncrasies of a hero-dominated industry like Tollywood.

In her interaction with the media today, Lavanya Tripathi has stated that if a film turns out to be a flop, the heroine is tagged an 'iron leg' or something. She also suggested that if it is a hit, the hero walks away with laurels.

When IndiaGlitz asked her if she had any particular actress in mind when she said that, she did not reply in the affirmative.

The Soggade Chinni Nayana heroine also said that an actress' tag keeps changing from 'iron leg' to 'golden leg' and again to 'iron leg' depending on the fate of a film.

Is it because Tollywood is hero-dominated? "I don't think it's the case only with the Southern industry. Even Bollywood is hero-dominated," she diplomatically put it.
