Online Rummy: Virat Kohli, Tamannah and Aju Varghese in legal trouble?

On wednesday, the Kerala High Court issued a notice to the brand ambassadors of the Online rummy game including Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli, actors Tamanna and Aju Varghese over a plea against the game.

The petitioner, a Kerala native Poly Varghese approached the High Court seeking a ban on online rummy complaining that several people have lost their lives in the country after losing huge amounts of money by playing it. The plea also pointed out that some states have already banned online rummy and also added that the brand ambassadors have played a major role to attract more people to this online game. Considering this argument, the court served notice to the three brand ambassadors.
