A Kerala based writer named Ashwathy recently shared screenshots of an online conversation with television and cinema actor Muralee Mohan harassing her. Sharing the screenshots of the conversation between them, the woman wrote that the messages did not come through the actor's fake ID and that it was clear through the actor's voice messages that he sent to her.
Ever since she shared the post, the incident has triggered controversy on social media.
Going by the screenshots, it is evident that he hade been constantly sending her messages by asking for her phone number and much more. Though Ashwathy responded to him in a harsh way, the actor continued to send texts to her. The actor also tried to convince her saying that 'ten thousand' women were attracted to him but he had ignored them all.
After the incident came to light, the actor also openly admitted that he did send messages by himself. Talking to a media Muralee said, "Lot of people send me messages on messenger. From asking me to sing a song to asking me about what I am wearing, I receive a lot of messages on messenger. It's hard to find fake and real people online. So, I respond only to messages on Whatsapp.
He further added, "If you see that chat, you will understand that there are no obscene words, so there is nothing wrong with what I did. The woman is just trying to show off." Meanwhile, the account that Ashwathy shared the post claiming that Murali Mohan sent the message is currently 'deactivated'.
