Actress Priyanka Banerjee had debuted in Tamil in the movie Chithiram Pesuthadi 2 directed by Rajan Madhav and has also acted in several Telugu movies. Currently the actress is planning to focus on Bollywood.

Recently, the actress had ordered a drink on an online portal, and she had received a call from a person who told her to pay money and the product will get delivered. Priya Banerjee had given her debit card details and in some time, Rs 22000 was debited from her account.

After sometime, the person had contacted Priya Banerjee and told her that the amount was wrongly debited and asked her Google pay details to refund the amount. However using Google pay he again debited 12000 rupees from her account. Priya Banerjee filed a police complaint following which the Bank transaction was stopped and her money was recovered, and the cops are now searching the fraud.
