Mass, the proposed title of the movie starring Vijay to be produced by his father S A Chandrasekhar has been changed to Aadi.

A remake of blockbuster Telugu movie Atanokkade , the movie was initially titled Mass.

However sources say the producers have reportedly changed the title since they feared protests from the so-called Tamil organizations.

Ramana, who made Thirumalai with Vijay earlier, directs the movie. Vidyasagar will be scoring the music.

Noted Kannada actor Sai Kumar has been roped in to play the villain in the movie which will feature Trisha opposite Vijay.

The interesting part of it all is whole film shows Vijay's fixation with Telugu films.

While itself is a remake from Telugu, the original title Mass was a lift from Nagarjuna's movie of the same name. Now the new name, Aadi, is also the title of a hit movie that NTR Jr had come up with some years ago.
