Mammootty starrer Vandematharam went to floors on Monday. A couple of scenes for the movie were shot by debutant director Karthik.
Karthik, who took his master in photography from Pune Film Institute and took his degree for direction from Paris Institute, is confident that the theme would attract the young and the old alike.
The film has script by A K Sajan and A K Santhosh. Music is scored by Vidyasagar. Rajesh Yadav wields camera. Interestingly Sneha plays the female lead in Vandemataram, produced by Henry under the banner of Pankaj Productions. She has acted with Mammootty in Thuruppu Gulan before.
Mammootty enacts the role of an intelligence director. Other casts include Sai Kumar, Cochin Haneefa, Salim Kumar and many others.
