Debutant director Priya, a one-time associate of director Manirathnam, has the rare distinction of working with five national award winners for her debut venture Kanda Naal Mudhal.
She has in her team - Prakash Raj (producer), Srikar Prasad (editor), P C Sriram (cameraman), Lakshminarayan (sound) and Thotta Tharani (art direction).
The movie stars Prasanna, Laila and Vanam Vasapadum fame Karthik Kumar in the film. The cast includes Laksmi, Revathi, Jagan and Devadharshini
About the film, she says, 'the incidents that happen in the life of three persons dominate the screenplay'.
The music is by Yuvan Shankar Raja. The audio was released recently and is doing brisk sales.
It's a different film sure to enthrall the audience, she adds.
