Venkatesh's much-expected Subash Chandra Bose has run into some unexpected controversy.

Though Venky's film has been in the making for quite some time now, the film's release set for this month coincides with Shyam Benegal's opus Bose ---The Forgotten hero. Produced by Sahara India, the film has music by AR Rehman.

Apparently Sahara India is not happy that another film is being released around the same time with a similar sounding name. They argue that Venky's film is not about Bose.

But that is not the point. The film was conceived and registered long before this controversy emanated.

So K Raghavendra Rao, the director, and Aswini Dutt, the producer, have nothing much to worry.
