Hailing from education field Dr Malineni Lakshmaiah maiden film in Kannada is disappointing for treacherous killing, indecent dialogues and a school girl supporting crime to live in life. The chain snatching and killing on which the protagonist lives is not the main subject for the film. Two other girls deceived in life are replica of several girls with injustice. One of the three girls committing suicide is the routine track in a commercial cinema. Romance and Crime we have seen in ‘Sigappu Rojakal’ of Dr Kamal Haasan. This is nothing new and young girls deviating in life is a bane to the society. Watching this film ‘Ondu Romantic Crime Kathe’ there is nothing to learn and the society is given wrong message. A school going Tanu (Ashwini), college going Meena (Poojasri) and Jyothi (Sonal) have agenda of love and sex. In the three Jyothi is senior. She has conceived from a person whom she does not know. At the same time Meena also become victim to the ulterior motive of Krishna. Her sex in a room with Krishna is recorded. The youngest of the three Tanu is in love with orphan Sathya(Arun). Sathya not finding proper way to live joins the bad gang that gives him training in chain snatching. From the money of her boy friend Tanu helps in abortion of Jyothi. Jyothi moves on even after that and finally pays penalty. Meena on the other hand blackmailed for the sex tape commits suicide. The third one Tanu encourage her boy friend in killing for living in life. Tanu and Sathya are part of eight murders and several chain snatching. They surrender to police. Trio Ashwini, Sonal and Poojasri have come out naturally in their performance. Arun looks like wooden block. Dr Malineni Lakshmaiah for his prestige in the society should not act in this kind of role. Achyuth Kumar has nothing much to boast. Two songs are melodious from Rishal Sai, Prabhu cinematography is competent. Score – 4/10
