The truism of the above is never lost on Suresh Gopi. Following the success of Bharathchandran IPS, Suresh Gopi has started the cop act again.

His next Tiger features him in the role of a Crime Branch SP. The movie was initially titled SP and later changed to Tiger. The movie is being shot in and around Kochi and Munnar.

According to director Shaji Kailash, this is an edge-of-the-seat movie and is different from 'my earlier investigative ones,'.

Suresh's role in `Tiger' and the one in Bharatchandran IPS are very different, the director says and adds, 'while he plays a firebrand cop in the former, spouting earthy dialogues, he is a refined police officer who relies on his experience and intelligence'.

For Suresh Gopi this cop act is indeed a top act. They might as well give him an honorary IPS top him as he has acted in so many police officer roles that his skin may seem khaki in color now.
