Mammootty is sitting pretty in Malayalam filmdom with one success after another.

The producers and directors are making a beeline to Mammootty and as a results his films are announced every fortnight.

The latest buzz is that Mammootty will do a movie for Lal creations. After the stupendous success of Thommanum Makkalum, they come together for their next titled Pothanvava.

The story is by Benny P Nayarambalam who has two mega-hits to his credit in Thommanum Makkalum and Chandupottu this year

Another big project for Mammootty is Renjith’s film Prajapathy. After Black, Raajamanikyam was the film they were supposed to do. But Renjith backed off at the last moment.

Renjith will now write the story, screenplay and dialogues for Prajapathy and Veliya Veettil Siraj, who produced Raajamanickyam will produce it.
