Director Vishal Bhardwaj was taken by a shock when he was shooting for a bike sequence in Lucknow University. The students union of the university took offence of the bike sequence that was to be shot with Ajay Devgan on a bike in the university campus.

The Omkara team had planned the sequence where Kareena asks Vivek Oberoi to hand over a letter to Ajay Devgan. It was in this scene that Ajay was required to be on a bike.

Everything went well until Ajay entered on a bike. The students were encouraging the shoot until he entered. Reports say since bikes are not allowed in the university campus, the students started screaming slogans that the rules should be the same for one and all. A huge ruckus happened, disrupting the shoot for a while. However, the producer had foreseen it, and had brought along a huge posse of cops and 50 special guards for the lead actors of the film, and things soon came under control. The producer had also obtained prior permission from the university authorities. Hence the problem was solved quickly.

The shoot will next commence in Allahabad with lead actors Kareena Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgan.
