Omkara celebrates 50 days

There are films that are instant money spinners, make profits and leave the screens in 4-5 weeks flat. On the other hand there are films that take a steady approach, earn good money and stay at the theatres for a good time period.

Omkara belongs to the latter category!

This Vishal Bhardwaj film has now celebrated 50 days at the box office and is still trickling in money for its investors from some theatres. Though the film's opening wasn't up to the mark, the film has moved on well during last 7 weeks and in the process has kept the trade guessing about its final outcome.

A film that was panned by many over its first weekend can now have a hearty laugh since it has done decent business over a long run.
