OMG! Shahid Kapoor in red hair?!?

Yes, birdies in town are sharing this interesting tidbit from the circle of Abhishek Chaubey's upcoming film 'Udta Punjab'. They say that Shahid Kapoor will be seen playing the lead character who has red hair and for which he coloured his hair during a recently held look-test. Earlier, Sasha made a fabulous impression by going bald in Vishal Bharadwaj's well-acclaimed film 'Haider'. Let's see how far the actor's latest avatar.

Birdies added that 'Udta Punjab' shooting will take place near Punjab-Chandigarh border for the next three months. During which major parts involving Kareena Kapoor will be on a large set in the streets of Chandigarh. Whereas a romantic number featuring Shahid and Alia Bhatt will be held in the countryside-based farmhouse.

It is said that the director has planned to shoot nearly six songs in the film's first schedule.
