The regular shoot of Om Namo Venkateshaya will kick-start from today. K Raghavendra Rao will shoot the film in a temple set erected at Annapurna Seven Acres in Hyderabad. The set is learnt to be majestic, resembling the Tirumala devasthanam. Apart from this set, a Raja Durbar set has been designed at Annapurna Studios.
In these two sets put together, the unit will shoot for 40 days or so.
Out to tell the legend of Baba Haathi Ram ji, a legendary devotee of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala, this one marks the fourth such devotional flick in the combination of the actor-director duo.
Most of the story is told in the backdrop of Tirumala forests. Mahesh Reddy, who produced Shirdi Sai, is the producer. Nagarjuna, KRR, and Keeravani have come together after Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, Shirdi Sai, and now for this film. The film is based on a mix of fact and fiction.
