The shoot of Om Namo Venkateshaya has been decided to be June 25. This was revealed by K Raghavendra Rao today morning. He was there in Tirumala to have a darshan of the Lord along with Akkineni Nagarjuna and lyricist Sirivennela Sitharama Sastry.

Post VIP drashan in Tirumala, Nag and KRR came out smiling and the director briefed the media about the visit and the impending shoot of their film.

Out to tell the legend of Baba Haathi Ram ji, a legendary devotee of Lord Venkateswara of Tirumala, this one marks the fourth such devotional flick in the combination of the actor-director duo.

A set has been erected in Annapurna Studios. Most of the story is told in the backdrop of Tirumala forests. Thus, the set is said to be vast. Looks like there is going to be a lot of CGI involved. Mahesh Reddy, who produced Shirdi Sai, is the producer. Nagarjuna, KRR, and Keeravani have come together after Annamayya, Sri Ramadasu, Shirdi Sai, and now for this film. The film is based on a mix of fact and fiction.
