Vijay Deverakonda was to team up with director Kranthi Madhav months after the release of 'Pelli Choopulu' in 2016. Two years have passed but the project failed to take off. For whatever reasons, the delay kept on happening.

The project seems to have been revived by a successful veteran producer. If everything goes well, so goes the industry buzz, the film will go on the floors soon.

Kranthi Madhav comes with a mixed track record. His first film, 'Onamalu', and his second outing, 'Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju', did well. But his third outing, 'Ungarala Rambabu', was a disaster.

As for Vijay, he awaits the release of 'Geetha Govindam' on August 15. 'Taxiwala' in September (probably) will be followed by the Telugu-Tamil film 'NOTA'.
