Producer Miriyala Ravinder Reddy, who is currently producing Nandamuri Balakrishna's third outing with Boyapati Srinu, is in the news over a Magistrate Court issuing a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against him. This is in connection with a complaint filed by a distributor of Naga Chaitanya-starrer 'Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo'.
The Telugu version of the 2016 film was produced by Reddy. As per reports, Reddy had taken Rs 50 lakh from the distributor in return for the distribution rights of 'SSS' in a particular territory. He returned only Rs 10 lakh when he didn't honour the commitment. The more than 4-year-old film has come back to haunt the producer of mass films.
The court has asked the police to produce Reddy before the court on April 19.
Meanwhile, the Balayya-Boyapati movie has been shot at a breakneck speed. It has Pragya Jaiswal in a key role. Poorna is rumouredly going to be seen in an interesting role. The film has music by Thaman.
