Old currency 3 crores found, four arrested

Even after months of ban of Rs.1000 and Rs.500 currency notes the finding of Rs.3 crores worth of it is shocking and disgusting.

The banned currency notes worth Rs.3 crores was traced by Viveknagar Police from four persons Ayun Ur Rehman, Atik Ur Rehman, Azeem Ur Rehaman and Ajim Ur Rehman and the currency notes belongs to Kolkota based businessman Jain. The search for Jain is in full swing.

The four were travelling in a good transport vehicle in high speed on August 11 night and at Viveknagar Signal this was traced by constable. On suspicion he alerted the department and the vehicle was traced after some time.

The Viveknagar Police found bags containing Rs.1000 and Rs.500 currency notes. The four took the task of exchanging it for 25 percent commission.

Kolkata Jain is a cloth and gold merchant is the information gathered by the police after interrogation.
