Okkadunnadu is set for release in a couple of days. The film is among the big ones this season. Gopichand and Neha Jhulka play the leads.

Coming as it does from Chandrasekhar Yeleti the film assumes more weight than any average masala flick. Chandrasekhar Yeleti has given us Aithey and Anuokkunda Roju.

Both the movies had a high level of sophistication and was certainly not run of the mill. There was certain amount of intelligence in both the script.

The director himself says that you can expect the same kind of feel and liveliness in Okkadunnadu. Gopichand, who has an action hero image, will be trying to jump to the other side of the fence, so to say.

This is a big opportunity for him to make the transition to a serious actor who is comfortable in any kind of character.

The story is set in Mumbai. The director has raised the anticipation levels by suggesting that the story may revolve around blood groups.

Krishna Vamsi is said to have had a hand in the songs picturization. Mahesh Manjrekar, the maverick Hindi film director, is playing a role in the movie.

Okkadunnadu is all set for a major impact.
