'Okkadu Migiladu' sees Manchu Manoj in dual roles.  As a 'liberation fighter', whose character is fashioned after the slained LTTE leader Prabhakaran, he will be seen in the role of a terrorist (or should we say militant?).  In the second role, the Manchu actor will be seen as a college student who grows into a leader.

The film is set in two different time periods.  The militant lived and fought in the past, and the college student seems to be a descendant of a refugee for whose rights the other character had waged a war.  It took Manoj to shed 12 kgs to essay the second character.

Going by the film's trailer, this is as yet the most hero-oriented film in Manoj's career.   He is intense, his voice delivers a punch and a pall of rage and grief, his energy is palpable.

Directed by Ajay Andrews Nuthakki, 'OM' has Anisha Ambrose of 'Run' and 'Fashion Designer S/o Ladies Tailor' fame as the female lead.  She will be seen in the role of a journo.

Rating: 0 / 5.0
