Suraj-directed film with Vishal and Tamannah Bhatia has been titled as 'Okkadocchadu'. The Telugu version is produced by G Hari on the banner Hari Venkateswara Films banner. The same is presented by M Puroshattam. The film is said to be the costliest one in Vishal's career.

A big-budgeted entertainer, it's poised to have a grand release in Telugu as well. Vishal has been trying to expand his market even further in the two Telugu States where he enjoys vast popularity.

"A big chasing sequence has been shot on a mammoth budget of Rs. 1.50 cr. It was choreographed by the fight master Kanal Kannan. This episode will be one of the major highlights in this film. Vishal's intro song has been lavishly picturised under the supervision of dance director Sobhi in specially-erected sets in Puducherry. HipHop Thamizh's songs will be liked by all", the makers aver.

G Hari says, "Okkadochaadu is a perfect commercial flick with a right mix of action and other elements. With a 10-day schedule in September, the entire talkie part will have been done. Two of the songs will be canned in Russia. We will release the first look on the 19th of this month. The teaser will be released on the 29th to mark Vishal's birthday. The audio will be out on October 9 and the film's worldwide release on October 29".

After 'Srimanthudu' and 'Nannaku Prematho', this was one of the first films which Jagapathi Babu was offered in Kollywood. Besides him, Sampath Raj, Charan, and Jaya Prakash are playing key roles.

Cinematography is by Richard M Nathan. Dialogues are by Rajesh A Murthy. Lyrics are by Bhagya Lakshmi. Editing is by RK Selva. Dance choreography is by Shobhi and Dinesh.
