Ahead of her birthday on the 21st, Tamannah Bhatia has said that she deems Vishal's 'Okkadocchadu' as her birthday gift. She speaks about what is in store in the Dec 23rd release.

"I am Jagapathi Babu garu's sister in the movie. It's a character with a lot of scope for performance. A commercial entertainer, our movie comes with a message. Director Suraj is a dab hand at interspersing comedy and other elements. 'Okkadocchadu' is a family entertainer. I am deeming it as my birthday gift."

"Hari garu has been travelling with the movie from the beginning. But for him, the Telugu version wouldn't have come out this well."

"Vishal is an actor who works toward bringing out a good film. It was great working with him for the first time. Even with respect to Nadigar Sangam, he is doing impressive work."

"For a mass commercial entertainer to become popular with the audience, the songs and dialogues have to be good. Rajesh has penned the lines in such a way that the film has occupied the audience's mind space. It's special that the lyrics are from a lady lyricist (Dr. Bhagya Lakshmi). I have known her for many years. The lyrics of 'Ne konchem nalupule, nuvvemo telupule', 'Dil chahtha hai ninu choosi Tamanna' and the trendy 'Hrudayam hrudayam' are my favourites. I hope she will get good name after this film."

"I am currently doing 'Baahubali-2'. I am very happy to be doing the second edition of Rajamouli garu's visual wonder. I am also doing Tamil."
