Director-cum-producer YVS Choudary, who became popular by producing and directing several hit films like Lahiri Lahiri Lahirilo…, Seetaiah and Devadasu under the banner Bommarillu Vari, with Yalamanchili Geeta as presenter, is presently making a film.

The shoot of this film, 'Okka Magadu,’ with Balakrishna, Anushka, Nisha Kothari and Simran in the lead, was formally launched in Annavaram recently. The regular shooting of the film is likely to begin at Annavaram in the second week of December.

Make-up tests are being conducted in the US for special get-ups of Balakrishna. He will return to Hyderabad in the first week of December. Simran is also playing a special role and would sport a new get-up in the film. Mani Sharma is scoring the music.

The producer is planning to release the film on April 28 as a summer gift.
