It has been said that 'Okka Kshanam' is a free make of 'Parallel Life', a Korean film. Its story has been suspected to have similarities with that of '2: Memiddaram'. Anil Sunkara, the producer of the latter, has clarified that he has discussed the issue with the makers of 'Okka Kshanam' and found out that there is no concern whatsoever with its content.

"Had a pleasant chat with Vi Anand and Chakri of 'Okka Kshanam'. All the concerns are sorted out and cleared. After knowing the entire content of the film, I am sure that it's gonna be a big hit. Advanced congrats to AlluSirish and director Vi Anand. Looking forward to working with them," Anil Sunkara of AK Entertainments says.

'Okka Kshanam' releases on December 28. It also stars Srinivas Avasarala, Surbhi and Seerat Kapoor. The film has music by Mani Sharma.
