'Okay Kanmani' is an official sequel of 'Alaipayuthey'?

Maniratnam is a task master as he got the track record of completing his movies within a short period of time and Okay Kanmani' seems to be no exception. There was a strong buzz that Dulquer Salman – Nithya Menon starrer will be on the lines of Alaipayuthey' and the same has been confirmed by its cameraman, P.C. Sreeram.

“You can say that the movie is an extended version of Alaipayuthey', but it is going to be very fresh. Maniratnam got the knack of reading the current trend really well; albeit being a love story, the lead pair wouldn't utter, I Love You' not more than thrice in the movie.” – Says Sreeram.
