Oh Baby mops up half a million in the US

'Oh Baby' has stormed into the half-a-million zone in the US. By collecting $560K (Rs 3.80 Cr gross, approximately) as of the end of Sunday, the fantasy-comedy is displaying the prowess of the genre.

Samantha Akkineni can't ask for more, especially because her 'U-Turn' didn't turn out such collections last year. The actress had pinned hopes on 'Oh Baby' and aggressively participated in its promotions.

Given the positive word of mouth and the genre, it should cross the figure of 'U-Turn' by a distance in its lifetime in the domestic market as well. Directed by Nandini Reddy, 'Oh Baby' has Lakshmi, Rajendra Prasad and Rao Ramesh in key roles.
