'Venkatapuram', starring Rahul of 'Happy Days' fame as a Pizza delivery boy and debutante Mahima Makhwana, is a thriller directed by Venu Madikanti.

The news is that the movie will hit the screens on March 29 as a Ugadi gift.

Shreyas Sreenu, one of the producers, says, 'The trailer, released recently on the hands of Allu Aravind garu, has got a tremendous response. It has got more than 1 Million views. The song released on the hands of VV Vinayak garu has also got a very good response. We will hold a big event related to the audio soon. The story of the movie unfolds in the backdrop of a woman`s murder. The novel project has been getting appreciation from industry people. Special care was taken about Rahul`s look. This film will give a new experience to Telugu audience. Our film movie too was released on Ugadi day. Incidentally, the same is happening with this film, too'.

Achu has "nailed" the BGM.

The makers are counting on Sai Prakash's cinematography, too. The film also features Kashi Vishwanath, Ajay, Jogi Brothers, Anitha in key roles. Funded jointly by Shreyas Srinivas Rao and Tumu Phani Kumar, it has art direction by J Mohan. The lyrics are written by Anath Sriram and Vanamali.
