Official update about 'U Turn' Tamil remake

'U Turn' is a Kannada language film that was highly appreciated by fans and critics alike upon its release. Shraddha Srinath essayed the female lead in the film playing the role of a press reporter.
Recently, news was abuzz in social media circles that Nayanthara would be playing the lead role in the Tamil remake of the film directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthi. But the director has refuted the claims. The film will be helmed by director Pawan Kalyan who wielded the megaphone for the Kannada version as well.
Moreover, it has now been confirmed that Samantha will be essaying the lead role in the film playing the most talked about charcter of a press reporter. Samantha already has several projects in her kitty such as 'Irumbu Thirai' with Vishal and 'Nadigaiyar Thilagam' as well.
