Nandamuri Balakrishna's son Mokshagna Teja's debut was supposed to happen already. The film's launch was scheduled but in the last minute, it has been called off. Prashanth Varma is finalized as the director of the project. Now, there are speculations of Mokshagna debuting under Nag Ashwin's direction. In the light of these speculations, Prashanth issued an official statement.

Prashanth stated that the rumors are baseless and called them false. He asked the audiences to wait for the updates from the team's official handles.

"We wish to address the recent speculations surrounding our project with PRASANTH VARMA & MOKSH NANDAMURI. There have been some baseless rumors circulating regarding the project. We assure you that they are not true. All official announcements or updates regarding the project will be shared at the appropriate time exclusively through our official social media handles @SLVCinemasOffl & @LegendProdOffl.

On the other hand, the speculations say that Balakrishna changed his mind and wanted to go with a different director for Moksh's debut.
