OFFICIAL: Prithviraj's 'Syamanthakam' is not shelved!

Director Hariharan had announced a big budget period film 'Syamanthakam' with Prithviraj in the lead role a few years ago. However, there has been no news on the project of late.

And now, its director Hariharan opened up in a recent interview that the project is not shelved. "The project will go on floors. We are now working out on which languages to make the movie as well as the rest of the details," said Hariharan who has also scripted the movie.

Scripted by Hariharan, the film has Prithviraj playing Lord Krishna and is based on Krishna as a warrior and a lover. The Pazhassi Raja filmmaker is reportedly looking for actors from North as well. The mega-budget flick will be financed by Gokulam Gopalan and Oscar winner Rasool Pookkutty is rumoured to be the sound designer. More updates awaited!
