Official! Bellamkonda Srinivas to reprise Dhanush in 'Karnan' remake

As has been rumoured, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas will be reprising actor Dhanush in the Telugu remake of 'Karnan'. The remake was made official today.
The 'Karnan' remake will see him in an action-driven role. It's learned that Bellamkonda was swept off his feet when he watched the Tamil original. As for the rest of the cast and crew, their names will be announced soon.
After 'Rakshasudu' and 'Alludu Adhurs', Srinivas is busy with back-to-back films. 'Karnan' is not the only remake he is doing.
It may be noted that Bellamkonda will be breaking into Bollywood with the remake of 'Chatrapati', the Prabhas-Rajamouli film, in 2022 or so. Directed by VV Vinayak and produced by Pen Studios, its shoot has currently been put on hold due to the raging pandemic. The first schedule of this mass actioner was shot in Hyderabad on a special set.
