You thought all the fun was reserved for the boys. Wrong! With Sandra Bullock's 'Ocean's 8' soon to hit the screens, the heist genre in Hollywood is gearing up for a paradigm shift.
Three parts of testosterone filled 'Ocean's' is getting a revamp with, women. There are naysayers. But then there are series loyalist who are welcoming the move. Written by Ross and Olivia Milch, the ensemble cast consists of Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Helena Bonham Carter and Awkwafina.
The film revolves around the story of Debbie Ocean, the estranged sister of Danny Ocean who takes up a heist of the Met Gala in New York. The team began its filming from October 2016 and premiered for the first time on June 5, 2018.
The film is based on characters created by George Clayton Johnson and Jack Golden Russell. Daniel Pemberton has scored the music for the film while Eigil Bryld has handled the cinematography for the movie.
Editor Juliette Welfling has made the cuts for 'Ocean's 8'. Director Gary Ross has wielded the megaphone for this much exciting project which has been bankrolled by Steven Soderbergh and Susan Ekins. Warner Bros Pictures, Village Roadshow Pictures, Smoke House Pictures and Larger Than Life Productions jointly have come to produce the movie.
While the movie has been already released worldwide reaping in good profits and positive reception from critics, it is slated to hit the screens coming June 22 in India.
