Kamal Hassan, right from his younger days has met head-on and surmounted one obstacle after another on his way to becoming the Ulaganayagan. It is already known that his Uttama Villain` has the Vishwa Hindu Parikshat raising objections at the Commissioners office about a song that supposedly hurts religious sentiments.

Now in a totally unexpected turn of events a Muslim group called Indian National League Headquarters has come out in support of the VHP and gave a petition to the Commissioner's office stating demanding the arrest of Kamal Hassan under National Security Act stating that Kamal hurt Muslim sentiments in Viswaroopam` and now he is hurting Hindu sentiments in Uttama Villain`. Director Ramesh Aravind immediately issued statements that Kamal has not hurt anyone`s sentiments in Uttama Villain`, which would release on the 1st of May as planned.
