O Panneerselvam becomes Shankar's dream 'Mudhalvan'

The 1999 blockbuster movie Mudhalvan' directed by Shankar is one of the most memorable films ever in Tamil cinema. In it the hero Arjun, a journalist will get a chance to be the Chief Minister for one day and within that time frame he will bring about a sea of change for Tamil Nadu.
Drawing parallels between the reel and real, one can observe the now interim CM Panneerselvam in the same light. OPS may or may not retain his CM post as only time can tell, but within the three or four days he has power he has gone about freezing the ADMK assets in the banks, has transferred the Chennai city Police Commissioner, has revoked the suspension of Chief Secretary Gnana Desikan and is also looking into the legalities to take over Veda Nilayam and convert it into a shrine for Jayalalitha. The whole world is watching as to what will happen next in TN politics which is as nail biting as Shankar's potboiler.
