According to reports, Indian Postal Department has come out with special edition stamps of Meena Kumari, Nutan, Devika Rani, Savitri, Kanan Devi, as a mark of honour to these yesteryear actresses. The postal stamps will be unveiled at an exhibition on Feb 13th.

Said a sources, Indian Cinema will form a prominent feature of the exhibition wherein postal stamps of other legendary actors like Raj Kapoor and Guru Dutt will be exhibited. Besides, they will also introduce a new scheme ‘My Stamp’ wherein one can get personalised stamp for a price.

Earlier Nargis and Madhubala were similarly hounoured through stamps.
