Such strong was Nushrat Bharucha's aversion with the written material of 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' that she started doubting her decision of acting in the film. However there wasn't much that she could do as she got the script in hand after she had already signed the contract with the makers.
Yes, I had reservations around the film when I first read the script, says Nushat in a hesitant tone, "I wasn't comfortable with the language there. I thought it was too much of cuss words there and frankly, I wasn't feeling too good."
On being prodded further, she says in a cautious tone, "I had wanted to read the script before signing the contract but (director) Luv said that I had to trust him. He in fact was point blank in telling me that if I was going to decide about doing this film only after reading the script, I had rather not do it. I had to eventually believe him and go by his judgement."
On contacted, Luv makes light of the situation, "As an actor, one is expected to adapt to any situation if the intent behind the scene is right and execution correct. Such minor debates happen between actors and director. As for the cuss words or the lack of it, why don't you check out the movie and see for yourself whether it is justified or not? There is no point me making any noise about it, right?"
