Here's how Nupur Sanon stumbled into acting field

Nupur Sanon is following the footsteps of her elder sister, Kriti, by pursuing a career in acting. However, this isn't what she had set out for. The aspiring actress had come to Mumbai to learn digital marketing and making a career in the said field. However, fate had other plans for her. In a recent media interaction, Nupur shared how she stumbled into the line of acting.
She told ETimes, I am a trained classical singer. I came to Mumbai in 2017 to study, but at the same time, I was pursuing singing. I used to share my videos on social media. One fine day, when Kriti was away for a shoot in Budapest, I got a call from a production house. They said they liked my videos and asked me to come for an audition.
Nupur speculated that she'd be auditioning for singing so apparently she was surprised by what was offered to her. She recalled, I thought they would share the lyrics with me, discuss the melody and make me sing. However, I was in for a surprise when the team told me that they were looking at casting me as the lead heroine.
Unfortunately, the film never took off and Nupur never got to make her Bollywood debut. However her performances in music videos 'Filhal' and 'Filhal 2' alongside Akshay Kumar were massively appreciated by fans.
