The audio release function of 'NTR' biopic was held on Friday. Besides the film's cast and crew, Jr. NTR graced the occasion. T Subbarami Reddy was conspicuous by his presence.

Superstar Krishna said that he had always been a big fan of NTR even as a child. "Before Adurthi Subba Rao garu cast me in my debut film, I had met Rama Rao garu seeking an opportunity. He told me that he will cast him once I grow up a bit after two years. I did three films with him in the early years. All of them were big hits. 'Devudu Chesina Manushul' was completed in a single schedule. It was a blockbuster. In all my films with Rama Rao garu, I played his younger brother."

K Raghavendra Rao said, "It was Anna garu who said that society is his temple and people are his Gods. I am going to watch 'NTR' biopic 12 times because I made 12 films with Anna garu. I am going to watch it once every month for the next one year. I am here today only because of Anna garu. Anna garu and Vadinamma used to be at my house for every special occasion."

Krishnam Raju said, "I can't appreciate Balakrishna enough for doing this biopic. NTR garu was such an affectionate person. It was in 1982 that he first told me about his intention to establish a political party during our journey to Ooty. I wish Balakrishna all the best and wish that he attains the stature of Rama Rao garu."

Jamuna said, "It's a special day today. Sri NT Rama Rao garu was an epitome of great performance and beauty. Balakrishna has performed a range of roles in 'Kathanayakudu'. I wish him all success."

Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad recalled NTR's policies for women, sanitation, etc.

Purandeshwari (whose blessings Balakrishna took on the stage) began her speech with a poem. "NT Rama Rao garu was a great inspiration, his fame was universal, he was the hope of the disadvantaged. It's an adventure that my brother, Balakrishna, has made this biopic. In the Trailer, his demeanor is much like Nanna garu's. Vidya Balan garu has lived my mother's role in the movie."

Mohan Babu said, "When I was still a student in Madras, I had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of him as part of a crowd. It was Annayya garu who blessed me when I set up a production house. It was under my banner that the great man did his last movie, the unforgettable 'Major Chandrakanth'. We were not birthed by the same mother, but we were like fraternal brothers. During Congress rule once in the 1990s, slogans were raised against him but I was the only one to say 'NTR Zindabad'. I never cared for my life. Once, I was to Tirumala. After my exit from the temple, when Annayya asked me what I had asked of God, I told him I prayed that he becomes the CM again. Annayya never did corruption."

Jayasudha said, "It feels as if NT Rama Rao garu is here today. I was fortunate to have got to act opposite NTR garu in 20 or so films. We in the industry lovingly call Balakrishna garu as Bala. We all are very excited about watching him as NTR garu."

Vidya Balan said, "I am feeling very blessed and humble that 'NTR' is my first film. I got very emotional watching the Trailer. God bless Balakrishna garu, who has transformed himself unimaginably. This is a very special film. They never made us feel that I don't know Telugu. I hope NTR garu and Tarakam garu (NTR's wife) will bless us. I can say that I have a family in Hyderabad. It's Balakrishna garu's larger family. The first family of Telugu cinema is also my family and it feels great."

Rakul Preet Singh said, "This is not just a movie. The makers have invested so much emotion in its making. I was not sure whether I can pull off Sridevi garu's role in the movie. I thank Krish for trusting me."

Brahmanandam, who has played Relangi in the movie, said, "I got to act with NT Rama Rao garu in his last movie - 'Major Chandrakanth'. Since my childhood, I was thrilled by his acting. When I used to shoot for the movie, I would funk in his presence in the beginning. Many a time, I am confused that Balakrishna garu is actually NTR garu. Krish's competence is on full display in this biopic."

Sumanth, who has played ANR in the movie, said, "I address Balakrishna garu as 'Mavayya'. Playing the role of my grandfather was a big responsibility. There has been a long-standing relationship between Nandamuri family and Akkineni family. You have to watch this film to know the roots of this relationship. This is not a movie, it's history.

Koratala Siva said, "I always used to learn something or the other from that great man. The biopic will turn out to be a 'Maha Kavyam', a guiding light for the future generations."

Pranitha, who has played Krishna Kumari in the movie, said, "I thank the makers for being a part of this special film. I have dubbed my voice for the first time. Being a part of anything historic is great. I feel great."

Nasser said, "In Tamil Nadu, we think NTR garu is a Tamilian. Even Sivaji Ganesan garu couldn't play Lord Krishna's role, which only NTR garu could play. When NTR garu was the CM, he gave us water from River Krishna through the Telugu Ganga project. 'NTR' is not a biopic; this is a piece of history."

Anil Ravipudi said that he is curious to know who has played Balakrishna's role in 'NTR'. "it's a puzzle like why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?" he signed off.

Kalyan Ram said, "I have learned the values of dedication, commitment from NTR garu. It's the Telugu audience who made him an Indian superstar. He became a politician to give back to the people who loved him. He went on to foster forward-looking policies and schemes. He was a Yuga Purush. It's not a small deal to make a biopic on such a great personality. Babai has made this movie with a lot of sincerity. Babai has told me I am looking exactly like my father in the movie. My father spent most of his youth and middle-age with his father. Producers (Balayya, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri), Krish garu, Sai Madhav Burra garu's dialogues, (Balayya garu has worked alongside the director to teach modulation to actors), and the entire technical team (Keeravani and others) and the actors are the film's main pillars.

MM Keeravani said, "My ony qualification to do this movie is that I have always been a 'veerabhimani' of Rama Rao garu. I have watched some of his movies hundreds of times. He is the only politician who never resorted to corruption. NTR garu became CM within 9 months of setting up TDP. And Krish has made the movie in lesser time."

Boyapati Srinu said, "It's only cinema that can bring time back. NT Rama Rao garu is the 'Moola purushudu' of the Telugu film industry. NTR was a great man who donned several avatars as an actor, a director, a leader."

Paruchuri said that the Centre will think of giving Bharata Ratna to NT Rama Rao fater watching the biopic. "He promised me to make me as big as Dasari Narayana Rao garu when I narrated the interval bang of a film," he said.

NTR said, "Babai is suddenly feeling like Peddayana (NTR). I belong to the family of that great man. I am here not as his family member. I am here as a Telugu man who has benefited from the works of that great man. I used to address him as 'Thathayya garu' as a child. After I came to know about him, I used to address him as 'Anna garu' like the people. We need to know his story. Ramayanam was written to tell the story of Maryada Purushottama. It was with Rama's blessings that a Dhruva Tara was born in Nimmakuru (referring to NTR's birth). He brought self-respect for the Telugus. I am proudly going to show 'NTR' to my sons when they grow up. No matter how much we praise Babai, it wouldn't be enough. I am proud to be on this dais today. I have seen my grandfather in Babai in 'NTR'. Those who create history are beyond success and failure. After 'Gautamiputra Satakarni', Krish is once again giving us a magnum opus for the present and future generations."

Balakrishna said, "We have worked on the two parts for 89 days. We all have put our best foot forward to make this biopic. I am an Indian first, and a Telugu next. I am next the son of NTR garu and his fan. It's my 'poorva janma sukrutham' that I have been able to do this biopic. NT Rama Rao garu was a maker of history, a creator of the history of Andhra Pradesh. I used to be proud that I have played Narada and Gautamiputra Satakarni, two roles that Nanna garu didn't play. I am only the 'kriya' in doing 'NTR' biopic. Every mythological role in 'Kathanayakudu' is there for a reason, not because I was crazy to play them. We are going to release the biopic in Tamil, Hindi and Kannada as well. It's because NTR garu was an Indian figure. I had for long wanted to establish a production house. It finally worked for 'NTR' biopic. It was destiny. I was amazed by Nayanthara during 'Sri Rama Rajyam'. I am amazed by Vidya Balan now. I thank her for playing my mother Basavatharakamma's role. The roles I play are larger-than-life. Rana is so convincing as Chandrababu Naidu in this film. You won't believe that he looks so perfect."
