Vyjayanti Movies had produced 'Student No. 1' under the direction of SS Rajamouli with NT Rama Rao as hero some five years ago. The film remained as the first hit film in NTR's film career.

Now, NT Rama Rao is going to play hero on the same banner after a long gap under the direction of a novice director Meher Ramesh and produced by C Aswanidutt. It is learnt that 'Kanthri' is the title confirmed for the movie.

Manisharma, who was presently on a tour in the US is going to score the music and the director had left for the US for music sittings.

Incidentally, Vyjayanti Movies had no notable hits in its recent past and films like 'Abhimanyu, Subhash Chandra Bose, Balu, Jai Chiranjeeva and Sainikudu' were proved duds at Box Office.

Presently the production unit is producing a film 'Chirutha' under the direction of Puri Jagannath to introduce Ram Charan Teja, son of Mega Star Chiranjeevi.

Let us hope that the film would be a big hit and the producer regain his earlier stamina.
