Young Tiger NT Rama Rao who gave two hits like ‘Adhurs’ and ‘Brindavanam’ this year, signed the dotted line for a film to be directed by Surender Reddy of ‘Kick’-fame and produced by BVSN Prasad popular as ‘Chatrapathi’ Prasad on the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra.

The formal launch of shooting for this heavy budget film was held at the production’s office at 9.30 am on November 17. NTR gave the clap, while VV Vinayak switched on the camera for the muhurat shot picturised on the gods’ portraits under the honorary direction of SS Rajamouli.

Speaking on the occasion, producer Prasad says, ‘Our long time wish to do a heavy budget film with NTR is coming true with this movie. An excellent subject was readied to suit the NTR’s image and we are planning to begin the regular shooting in December. The shooting would continue till January 8 without break. This would be a prestigious film on our banner.’

Director says, ‘Tarak had completed a decade as an actor successfully. The audiences would find a new NTR in this film. It is a full-fledged action entertainer which would move on a novel way. Tamanna was selected as one heroine and the selection of another heroine is in progress. Definitely this film would be a sensational film in our combination.’

Kick Shyam, Prakash Raj, Asish Vidyarthi, Ali, Jayaprakash Reddy, Raghubabu, Venumadhav, MS Narayana, Duvvasi Mohan, Raghu, Venkat and others are in the cast.
