Following the murder of Vinod Royal, reportedly at the hands of a fanatical fan of NTR, the Nandamuri star has opened up his heart on the place of a matinee idol in an individual's life.
"My personal opinion is that extremeness in being a fan is wrong. I hope I don't have extremist fans", he started off saying.
"Your first love has to be toward the country. Next in the order come your parents, then the extended family, and then come well-wishers and friends. The place of your favourite star is the last. When you are at crossroads in life, it's the country and then family that would matter", he said in his style.
"We are just actors who act for 2 ½ hours. You have to serve the society, the country, your parents, thereby becoming a responsible citizen, son, father, daughter, etc", he said in an admirable interview.
